A whaaaaaaaaaat post. Google "new" policy

This is my post post here in 2012 and it begins as a rant to that pic above...
Let me pick a few stuff up and translate to my own terms (my views about this policy).

"insert vulgarity here" day.

Well today is a piece of "insert vulgarity here". Here's what happen.

Yesterday, I called Samsung CS (Customer service) and told them my youtube app crash upon hard reseting my i8000 (Omnia 2). They say they could not do anything since it is a third-party app. If it is, WHY BOTHER PRELOAD IT TO MY PHONE?

Told them to e-mail me a solution to my phone hanging problem and the youtube (fixed....).

Today, was not expecting a call in the wee hours (not that early...) in the morning. They called me at the wrong time and well... I am not very happy about it because I TOLD THEM TO EMAIL ME.

Phone hang at 11:20+ am. I am "insert vulgarity here" pissed off because THERE IS LESS THEN 20 SMS, 4 APPS, PHONE IN DEFAULT SETTINGS AND A BUNCH OF SONGS AND VIDEOS. THAT'S ALL.

Next, I called them and told the CS to tell the technical engineer to email me. Well, the engineer called me DURING MY LAB MATHS. Wow, what a nice world. Told the guy to call me around 5pm.

I went home in a "hurry" and waited for that call.

That call came and I told that same guy about my problem. Well as a "experience" user in Windows mobile devices, the technical engineer told me to do a hard reset of my phone. And this _________.

He told me the problem is caused my running apps, full RAM, or little phone memory. THE PROBLEM IS I DO NOT HAVE APP RUNNING, ALOT OF RAM AND ALOT OF PHONE MEMORY.

Seriously, I am almighty piss off. I expected a better answer and he told me to do A HARD RESET. I HAVE BEEN DOING THAT LIKE ALL THE TIME. GOING TO CS LIKE MY 2RD HOME.

Okay... What happens if the problem comes back after doing what he say? Go back to CS.

I hung up the phone, it is as good as not talking to him.

Summery: For the past few weeks till now,

It has been a rough ride this past few weeks, test and test and replacement class and funny schedule and whatever.

Digging down my calender, I did a presentation about cloud point. Not something which I like or love but I have to present it; lacking of man/woman power at that time. My lecturer commented on my presentation as (how should I say it). So all ends well.

Next is the extra class on the following Friday. That Friday is weird because the lesson is to PLAY board games. Oh the irony. Well good thing that it is fun but the bad thing is we CANNOT go home till the lecturer wins (wth).

Next is introductory chemistry practical test. We were suppose to do in either a pair or a small group. Quite not as what I expected of a test. In the end it all ends well.

Now come to the dreaded part. On the 10th of June, it is the starting day of the PC show at Suntec conventions hall. All went well until I climb down a flight of stairs at Tampines MRT station. I suffered a catastrophic sprain that sent me limping in pain for hours. To imagine how bad is the sprain, think of your foot twisted in a full 90 degree angle when it happen on the stairs. 

Well here I am now. Enjoying the sprained leg....

At last...fixed a visual bug...

Finally fixed the static link bar. Now all browsers are happy with it. Safari is not showing signs of "must block those links by blacking all of them out" idea.

Well it is also the day (today) that I went for the course payment and registration in the ITE.

I got some uniforms (unlike polytechnics, they wear slippers and singlets) and a lab coat! Never wear it for 6 years and I brought one for my course. Looks nice but there's two holes, wonder what are they for. oh well the irony...

Some random stuff about my computer.

- New computer -

- Acer nia, budget yet powerful (The second most powerful computer is MacBook, Core2 Duo 2.4GHz)-

- Powered by Windows 7, startup time is less then 1 minute. Wow... -

Specs: Windows 7 Home premium, HDD 320GB, 2GB RAM, Intergrated NVIDA GPU, Intel Pentium processor 2.93GHz Dual core (Wow, compared to my old CPU; AMD x64 Athlon 2.2GHz).

Recent inactivity

I'm having a personal life problem and maybe away for weeks.

*Personal record of "no life", now @ 6 days.
Facebook is deactivated, no more updates as well.

Windows 7 part 1

I download Windows 7 beta and it took about 40 minutes to download.

Installing, you take a nice cup of coffee and poof, it's done (surprisingly).

The hardware I'm going to test it out is MacBook (wow....)

I forget the specs and just to let you know it's Core 2 duo and 1GB ram.

The rest I forgotten. Alot of things don't work on the MacBook and it's damn troublesome (still at setup).

Busy, busy month...

I wanna takeupaarcherycoursebutmaybecannotlololololol...

I mean I want to take up Archery course and why I say that's going to be busy? I have a CIP trip to HWA (Handicap Welfare Association and I hope my spelling is correct..).

PLUS I have to attend this sh**** program called Infocus and soon after that I might have to attend early-bird lesson @7am!!!

Not just that, CCA!!! My CCA teacher is pressing on me to attend CCA (The only respectable senior) as I have not been attending CCA due to miscommunication between my juniors (They can relay wrong message without realising... >.<) and worse is it conflict with my NOT YET APPROVED archery course WHICH CONFLICTS with Infocus program... Can this get any worse? Yes, test test test, that is needless to say though... =)

Redoing my tracing ways.

Hmm...

I found a better way of tracing. This might make my life easier and some of you might know this way...

I have finally finish my anti-biotic course and now on the road to recovery.

I am running Vista, not the crappy Home basic but a Home premium.

Love the Aero interface. It's xmas eve and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Too bad that one of my works just did not arrive in time to show here.
